The 16.6 goals per game is the second-highest average in program history, trailing only the 2021 team's average of 18.40 over 15 games. The 282 goals are the most in a single season in program history. With 282 goals this season, the Flying Dutchmen are plus-106 in goal differential. Four made the second team, all for the first time: face-off mid Caden Brainard, defender John Foster, midfielder Alex Goodall and short pole Marco Mularoni. Four earned first-team distinction: midfielder David Brace, attacker Michael Mann, defender Tucker Martinez and long pole Luke Wierengo. Shoemaker helped this year's Tiger football squad set a single-game record for team rushing yards, breaking a 45-year old record. Shoemaker, a three-year starter for the Warsaw football program, flourished on the offensive front for the Tigers this year and earned Indiana Football Coaches Association Region II All-Star recognition along with being named first team All-Northern Lakes Conference. Warsaw Community High School multi-sport standout Matt Shoemaker has announced his intentions to attend Trine University and play football for the Thunder.
